IMOS speeds up the development of optical systems, lenses, linear and diffractive strucutres.
Due to the many production stages leading from the idea to the finished mass-produced optics made of silicon, glass or plastic such projects can last several months. This incited IMOS to try and make notably shorter times possible.
Diffractive structures are designed to the customer’s specifications. Within a short time IMOS is in a position to show the customer the result of its design work and the computations. The IMOS-DOE-Demonstrator (IDD) allows to represent the diffractive structure. On request IMOS physicists will also come to the customer with the IDD. The product engineering team is thus in a position to check the successful outcome of the optical project on its own premises.
Spherical and aspherical lenses can be supplied to the customer at short notice as prototype production in plastic to check the reliability of their application.
