IMOS fireglass reflectors for
reflective sensors exposed to the
heat of metal working factories
When things get too hot for conventional electronics, it's time to
use IMOS' fireglass reflectors.
When steel and aluminium are processed, temperatures get very
high. Head radiation can then cause electronic sensors to
malfunction. IMOS glass reflectors, made of borosilicate glass,
provide the solution. Depending on the design, they can be used
in temperatures up to 500°Celsius IMOS offers open and closed fireglass reflectors. The closed
systems are used for dust and liquid-resistant
systems.
