Microlens arrays
When magnified under the microscope, the latest IMOS development looks like a giant compound eye of a fly. Indeed, the round lenses consist of a number of minute and accurately positioned micro-optics. Depending on the area of application, these single lenses have a diameter of approx. 0.2 to 2 mm and as a joint microlens array possess excellent, exceptionally precise light-shaping properties. Depending on which light pattern is to be generated, the arrays have a hexagonal, cubic or concentric shape and are arranged closely together. IMOS guides the light – even tailor-made according to your requests and specifi cations.
