IMOS expands glass production

Synthetic material reach their limits in clean rooms and vacuum areas. Therefore, IMOS glass optics are successfully used here. Most of these optics are made of special borosilicate glass. This also has ideal properties for contact with aggressive cleaning agents and is therefore very suitable for use in pharmacy and chemistry. Even use in high heat up to almost 500°C is possible. In addition, a large number of other types of glass are used at IMOS, which ensure high optical structure reproduction. This means that even difficult optical requirements can be met. IMOS is currently expanding its range of glass reflectors and is developing new glass optics, which will be available to customers shortly.
